After thinking about it for years, Kel and I finally went ahead with plans to install a hot tub int he backyard. NO REGRETS! We priced some on the web and became discouraged with the prices for the type we wanted. We wanted a big tub that would hold all our friends rather than a tub with a lot of bells and whistles. We didn't need lounge chairs or special jets. Finally went to a spa store where we found the perfect one for us. It'll hold 8 people comfortably. They installed and delivered it while Kel was stuck in San Jose at LinuxWorld so I got to try it out on my own for a few days.

It was where I lived everyday after work for many weeks. When it got really hot outside I turned the heater off and let it cool to about 85 and used it as my "little pool". Now that it's a bit cooler out, we keep it up to about 103F and soak every other night right before bed. Nice!

Next spring (2001) I'll be building a deck and arbor around it.
