Ah the peninsula cabinets. For quite a while this was the hairiest fly in our kitchen project ointment. We wanted cabinets 18" tall or less, but Mill's Pride only carried 30" & 42" penninsula cabinets. (Penninsula cabinets have doors on both sides). So we looked at other brands and found some, but they cost 3 times as much. After thinking a bit we decided to go with the 30" models then do some "customizing". I pulled out the SkilSaw and cut the puppies in half. Here they are sans doors.

Also in the shot: AC outlets are installed below the bar, and Kel has installed some of the sheet-rock. That switch hasn't been moved yet.
