This shot, taken in October 1997 looking from the bedroom, shows the completed Breakfast Bar/Pass-Thru. You can also see a makeshift half-wall covered in some fabric. It's framed but not sheet-rocked yet. It's not as stable as we'd hoped so we have to tie it down under the house, which involves, TA-DA! going under the house. After spending 3 hours under the house running the venting for the cook-top, my enthusiasm for returning is still at an all-time low :) They'll get done eventually :) This is pretty much how the Living room looks to date (Dec '97).
