See how the cement in the bottom troughs is brown and really wet? Well that stuff just did not set-up well, creating a butt-load of leaks and was one of the reasons we ended up having to do 2 more layers of cement just so the pond would hold water.
The other problem/mistake we made was that we should have made it thicker. After setting we noticed that the reinforcing wire and risen to the surface in dozens of areas, creating lots of little leaks.. sigh.
