They brought the old Electrical Parade back in order to boost nighttime attendance at DCA and I heard it worked pretty well over the summer. The last time we saw it, in October 1996, before it was supposed to "Glow Away FOREVER" we had to deal with the biggest crowds we'd ever seen at Dland. It was obnoxious, especially all the pushing and shoving during the parade itself (hope I didn't hurt anyone).

On this trip however, I got to see it in a way I never have before: Virtually all by myself! There we were standing around near the SunGlass Dinosaur thingy and we hear the music. We turn around and here it comes down the street! A CM actually encouraged us to move up closer (they usually say stuff to us like "Get off that tree!" and "Only children on shoulders please!". Really weird seeing it this close and without bitchy women shoving their brats in front of us (like our parade experience last May in WDW).

This was great fun, but the only really good pic I got was this one. No tripod and they all moved too fast. Aran got some though and maybe I'll put them up. The next 2 are a little fuzzy but not bad.
