Ah the late lamented "Skyway to Tomorrowland/Fantasyland" or Death-Buckets as we all commonly referred to them. The credit for the naming (at least in our group) goes to someone we haven't seen in over 10 years. My old college roommate Dino, who accompanied Pat-Jeopardy-Boy and I on a trip back in 1985. He used to work at Magic Mountain, whose skyway had a less savory reputation, and apparently had always called them "Death-Buckets". It caught on pretty fast among us. There are entire sites devoted to this ride and it's overnight demise. It could get you from one side of the park to the other, quickly (especially during parades). It had the best views of the park, and it was one of the best and safest places to wave at Earl. We'll all miss it very much. The shot in particular was taken from the seating area near Dumbo, in January of 1990.
