Second thing Monday morning we went over to Disneyland and planned to spend much of our day here. In the morning it was a little drizzly and the forecast was for heavy rain. Well it rained really hard over night but hardly a drop once we entered the park!. Main Street opened at 9:30 for our shopping convenience.

There's a new version of Great Moments With Abe Lincoln this year and I liked it a lot. Just dumping that stupid Two Brothers sequence would have improved that show immensely, but they also now have Abe give the full Gettysburg Address instead of the Cliff's Notes compilation of all his speeches. They put in their 3D sound system (requires wearing headphones) which is neat but a bit gimmicky. I probably would have been more impressed had the script not been so similar to the Drew Carey Sounds Dangerous show at WDW. The other problem was that we were told to put the ear-pad with the red dot over our right ear. Everything seemed to be happening behind me, so I switched'em and then it worked perfect.

All in all we liked it.
