Shortly after Eisner took the place over, they started having "theme days" in order to draw crowds. There was Circus Days, and State Fair Days etc. We lucked upon being there for State Fair days in October 1987. What this meant was that they put up Ferris Wheels on the railroad tracks near the front gate (the railroad was closed for construction on Splash Mountain), and in the middle of the hub. They also set-up ring-toss and other carney "win-a-prize" booths. Yuck. I did like the turkey legs and corn-dogs tho... they kept the corn-dogs.
This is the Ferris Wheel at the Train Station duh..., it's a video grab from a tape I shot on my Dad's old VHS camcorder that was old back then. The tape is over 10 years old now. Hence it looks like crap... Photoshop hasn't helped.
