Light Tragic Button

In May of 1997 Kel, Aran, Pat-Jeopardy-Boy and I went to our first AP party which was supposed to be the grand premier of Light Magic, the Electrical Parade's successor. Welp the party was fun but the show sucked, and it was especially vexing that it wasn't really a premier, but a dress rehearsal. The tickets were $25 a piece, but we got a refund so I don't feel too bad. I plan on hitting the next party. I think the best part of the whole thing was that there were no lines except in the shops, and I could count the number of kids I saw on one hand. Definitely worth it. This was also our most ultimate kamikaze trip. We flew down Tuesday afternoon. Went to the party that night. Flew home early the next morning.

Now that the plug has been pulled on this awful show, these buttons should be worth quite a bit in a couple of years.... the shirts and mug too :)

Update 6/2002: Despite what I said above, we haven't gone to another AP Party since that one. After 1997 we let our APs lapse and have never felt the urge to re-up them. Hell we've only been down to the park once since 1997 and don't actually have any plans to return in the near future.
