In October of 1996 (right before I broke my wrist) Kel and I decided to hit the park for the Electrical Parade "One Last Time" ha ha. We haven't watched the dang thing in umpteen years and weren't REALLY interested... it was just an excuse. As these things usually happen, by coincidence or sheer inevitability, a bunch of people we know ended up meeting us there :) Adri & Matt (not pictured) were there Sunday, then Monday we bopped around on our own, then Tuesday Kel's step-mother Jan, step-sister Jennifer, and step-niece Madeline joined us. As you may remember, the park was having record attendance days during those last few weeks of the parade, so the crowds were absolute hell. We still had a great time though, cuz I love showing people around who haven't been to the park in a long time (or in Madeline's case, ever. Side note: I am generally opposed to children under the age of 20 being allowed in the park, but I'll make an exception for Madeline. She was great. Loved every ride, never whined, never disappeared. I'd take her again in a heartbeat. In this pic are (from left to right): Kel, Jennifer, Me, Jan & Madeline.
