In December 1992 Fantasmic was still pretty much brand new, and I wanted to videotape it. We found out that they would let you watch the show from the balcony of the Disney Gallery if you showed up by 5:00 in front of the Pieces of Eight shop, so we planted ourselves there at around 3:00 in order to be the first in line. As this was an undocumented "feature" of the park, not many cast members were as helpful about exactly WHERE we were supposed to wait, and we ended up second in line cuz we were sitting in the wrong area and the other group was a bunch of jerks who didn't care that we were there first. No matter. After sitting on the cold ground for over 2 hours, we got our reservations and had an absolutely fabulous view of the show. The tape came out great too. Here we are, about 1 hour into our wait. From left to right: Adri, Me, Aran, Melissa & Amanda, Pat-Jeopardy-Boy and Woody. Don't know who the guy in the back right is....
