Tokyo 2003 : Slide 131 of 485

We spent all of day 3 and most of day 4 of our trip at the fabulous new park, Tokyo DisneySea. I'll apologise now for all the gushing I'm going to do here. It is truly the most beautiful theme park I have ever visited. It has a higher level of theming and attention to detail than parks that have been around for 50 years.

The weather on both days was cold with light to medium rain, so not only did we wear ponchos the whole itme, but we were unable to get the best pictures possible. However check out how good they do look despite the gray skies!

I originally tried to put all the pictures into chronological order, but as we did a lot of hopping around from land to land, it got a little disjointed, and really the only people who'd care would be the 4 of us on the trip. Instead I have grouped them by land in a mostly clockwise fashion. So as you read my little descriptions, keep in mind that the timing will be weird.

I should also warn you: TDS's Castle is a big-assed Volcano which can be seen from all over the park. It erupts every hour in flames, smoke and thunder (sensurround when you are inside Mysterious Island). It's so cool, we took way too many pictures of it. I omitted about half those we took and there are still a butt-load.
