Our Juneau Pub Crawl began here at the Alaskan Brewery, makers of the highly imported Alaskan Amber Ale. I wish they sold more of their stout... damn hard to find here in the Bay Area. We got to taste all 4 of their beers and they were all really good.

It was here that some of us had the bright idea to stock up in order to avoid paying the outrageous beer prices on the ship. Got a case and split it among 5 of us which lasted until sometime the next night...we started in on it the second we got on the bus :) We weren't sure the crew would let us back on the ship with it so we hid it among our backpacks. I'm sure the staff suspected something though when they were cleaning up around the hot tub the next morning....
