Trim happens. Theoretically they could have finished the trim in about a day and a half and would have plenty of time to do theri other job. Unfortunately the paint color we chose had a clear base and, when used over a light color, did not cover very well.

Painter-dude refuses to ever use it again. They kept putting coat after coat on, 4 or 5 coats in some places befor ewe just told'em it was fine, go away.

Here's the deal: Kel and I ran into this problme with the maroon trim last time. After tryign to get it to cover the tan/yellow with 4 coats we gave up and tried puttign a real dark primer on the windows first. Voila, after than the maroon looked good after 1 coat and great after 2.

Kel suggested this to painter-dude. And got the "Ma'am I'm a professional. I know what I'm doing'.

Sigh. Well once they finished putting 4 or 5 coats on it finally looked fine to us.
