What yer looking at is the old flat roof of the bedroom addition with new rafters being put in place. This increased our storage capacity (all the extra lumber is up there as well as half of Adri's life), as well as increasing the insulation factor. An added bonus was it stopped the leaks, (except for the waterfall which happened in the middle of construction). Jim and I spent a week up there putting those beams up... well he did most of the work, I held the college end. Heard about the "Every Picture Tells a Story Doughnut" for the first time up there... Oy Jim.
