This shot was taken near the end of July. By that time my post brackets fully dry and able to have posts bolted to them. I used 4 in-ground brackets and 3 that I bolted to the existing cement patio with this really cool epoxy stuff. Drilling those hole sucked almost as much as digging the other holes!
Once the posts were bolted to the gound I bolted the outer 2x6 supports for the benches. There I am checking the level on one before I drilled. That white framework is the old pop-up shade, which I left in place until I got to the point where it was seriously in the way.
