Ya always have to have a good meeting place for when members of your group want to strike out on their own. A place that everyone can find fairly easily, doesn't have too much foot traffic, and has a good vantage point from which to see people's approach. For awhile (about 10 years ago eek) we used the tables along the river near the Mark Twain dock, but there was too much traffic and the tables were too popular. Then we used the Snow White Grotto, but there's no place to sit and the music can drive you nuts. We tried a new place this year and it worked pretty fabu. The fountain next to the Haunted Mansion has ample seating, is fairly quiet, and you can see the main entrance to the area real easily. Here we are after we all finally got to the park on the first day, from left to right: Adri, Matt, Charles, Alana, Kel, Aran & Don.
