Wow they did a good job sprucing this ride up. Totally new queue area (mostly) and new lighting and stuff in the boarding area. The ride itself got a whole new track (follows the same layout and the original), all-new lift-hill effects and a much darker experience within. New cars with a better sound-system (hopefully more robust than the break-down prone originals) and a new soundtrack too. I kinda miss the Dick Dale but I have that on CD :-)
We no longer need to wear sunglasses inside. They've blocked off all the windows looking in from the old Peoplemover track and queue area and most of the light effects are the moving star field. Really hard to see the superstructure now!
