One of the things that caused me to not get much sleep on this cruise was the hot tubs on the Lido deck. On at least 3 of the 7 nights we were able to take over the hot tubs (and pools too) after dinner. We basically sat around drinking and bs-ing all night. We would go back and forth between the tub, the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. When the Crow's Nest was open we were able to score Wang Wangs on several occasions... Once Bill even brought a round down after they had turned down one of our requests (it WAS kinda late...). After the bar closed we would dip into our stash of Alaskan Ale.

On one memorable night we all piled in after dinner, about 10:30, and for some reason could not get the jets to turn on. We then noticed the water level slowly going down! They were draining it while we were still in it! Well *technically* the hot tubs were closed at 10:00 :) Most of us were willing to abandon them and go up to the Crow's Nest but Mike sat there until it went dry, and Murray went on a crusade to get them refilled. Steve Silberman (Wired reporter) joined our cause and tried to convince the staff to refill them but it was all to no avail. They were on a cleaning cycle which "could not be stopped now".... So we went up to the Crow's Nest :)
