By the time we saw the Dusk & Dawn for the first time we'd spent the morning lugging our bags from the Stylotel to Paddington, sat in an overfull railroad coach with broken AC, and stepped out into a downpour. That last part felt pretty good actually.
We arrived in Hungerford around 12:30 just as the sky opened up. 2 young men came over with umbrellas and asked if we were there for the Hotel Boats. That's us! They snagged our bags and began running, beckoning us to follow them. It was Shaun (who shall from now on be referred to as "Our Shaun" as if we were Nanny Ogg) and Jonathan, 2 of the crew from Dusk & Dawn. Up over a bridge and down a wet pathway. Over another bridge spanning the Canal and here we are. Soaking wet but, for the first time since our arrival, cool!
