Summit Plummet was fun for about 3 seconds. Cross Country Creek was HOURS of
fun. It's a meandering creek that surrounds the park and has a pretty good
current. You can sit in tubes or not as you wish. It takes about 30 minutes
to go all the way around and back to your starting point but there are 9 or
10 other places you can exit or enter along the way. There's a really neat
ice cave at one point with icy waterfalls.
During our first orbit, Pat and Melissa had gone on ahead of us by about
15 minutes. The rest of us formed up one big raft chain. It was so
relaxing. We went around once, got out and did another slide and the wave
pool then came back to the creek later and relaxed some more. I gotta put
one in my backyard! Hmmm surrounding my house like a moat...
