It was difficult getting this shot as I didn't want to crowd the poor kid in front of me... Yep I'm next. As you can see, they insist you cross your wrists and ankles, as well as removing and holding your hat, glasses, and sandals. Lucky for me I had the camra strapped to my arm or it woulda been a gonner.
I should have been more scared but I guess I'm getting old. I couldn't
wait. You have a seat and get ready, then when the life guard (those are her
legs) tells you it's lcear, you push off and DOWN YOU GOOOOOO! It takes
about 3 seconds to reach the bottom and by then your adrenaline is going
full-tilt boogie and your swim-suit has gotten so scared it's tried to climb
up inside of you. A horizontal trough slows you down at the bottom and sends
water up your nose. You try to stand up gracefully and get the heck outta the
way before falling over.
When I got to the bottom I immediatly found a spot to film the others as they
Plummeted.
