Due to not holding water AT ALL after Phase two, we through plywood over it all and took a 2 month break. A two month break during which I was laid off from my job, we played Travel Host to a friend from the UK, we went to Tokyo, and had 2 BBQs. Not much of a break eh :-)
What you see here is the pond after trying to waterproof it with caulk (the running gray stuff) which did not work completely, then a coat of thinset, which did work, but was ugly. At the point you see it here it would hold water up to the original concrete skirt.
