Now that we knew the thinset would work to plug the holes we began thinking about the look. Originally it was to be bare concrete and we'd hoped the water would nake it look natural. Once we saw it filled we decided to rethink this. I bought a couple bags of rivver rock in small and medium sizes. We then pretened to tile. We spread another layer of thinset down and pressed the gravel and ricks into it.
