The running joke for years after this June 1968 trip, was that we had to see Fantasyland and Dumbo LAST after we'd seen everything else in the park. Reason being that I loved this ride so much that I'd throw a tantrum when you tried to pry me away from it. I of course outgrew this by the time I was 7 or 8, but the joke continued well into my high school years...
Here's something fun to do: Swap between this photo and the one next to it on the Dumbo Index from 1981 and check out what 13 years of us did to my Dad :)
