In August, 1981 the Submarines were still gray and looked pretty military. When they repainted them a few years later I was appalled. They looked HORRIBLE. I'm not positive but I think the color scheme they used is different than the yellow/black they've used for the last 10 years or so. I say this cuz I actually like the current scheme much better than the old gray and can't believe my color tastes have changed in 15 years :)
