I hate following the crowd and saying that Space Mountain was my favorite ride... but at DP this is definitely the case. Although it'll never happen, I really wish they'd rip out the DL and WDW versions and replace them with DPs! Number one, you are catapulted at high speed up the outside of the mountain. You then do a fairly respectable plunge into the interior, which is darker than it's predecessors. There's a loop-the-loop which is fun and then the darkness creates a controversy. 1st time we rode, we thought there were 2 corkscrews. The 2nd time we decided there'd only been 1. But then I read on the official DP site that it has "3 inversion events". (the Official site also says that Walt's face is one of the singing busts in the Phantom Manor tho so all bets are off). The ride is VERY fast and really got the heart pumping. My ONLY complaint is the lack of Dick Dale, the music was only OK.
