This is a shot of the hotel we stayed in on our "lost Day". When planning our trip, this day, as a travel day from Scotland, fell through the cracks, hotel-wise. Once we discovered our error it was almost too late to take care of it on the 'net. Last trip we really wanted to stay here cuz the rooms looked sooo cool in the brochure. It was a little expensive though so we skipped it that time. This time it would only be one night so we splurged. As you can see, it's the Pavilion Hotel :the Fashion Rock and Roll Hotel. We didn't get confirmation of our reservation until we got to Edinburgh, so it was a close call! Every room is uniquely decorated. Our room was, of course, on the top floor. A man who resembled Zathras in Bab5 helped with the bags. It was decorated really nicely but the bed was a bit, uh firm. The TV was mistuned too. All in all it was OK, but not for how much we paid. We spent twice as much as we did on the Town House for a fraction of the space. Oh well. It was only for one night and it wasn't awful. :)
