On Sunday March 26th Kel and I took the bus into Ipswich to check out the town. We were hoping to hit the supermarket in order to buy stuff for the big Italian dinner we were gonna cook for Matt. Once we got there we found that the whole town rolls up it's sidewalks on Sundays! There was only 1 store open... Waterstone's... veddy dangerous. Welp we walked around anyway and we're glad we did. It was marvelous having the place to ourselves! As for the book store.. yep we blew a hundred bucks easy. Got the latest Pratchett (Fifth Elephant) which won't be available here in the US for a few more months.

The pedestrian areas of Ipswich are really cute. One of the funniest things we saw was the sign Kel is pointing at, which you can't read. "Vegetarian Haggis". What the hell is in vegetarian haggis??? We'll never know, the shop was closed.

One bummer about Shotley Gate was that there are only 2 busses that run on Sunday. One into Ipswich at 11:30am and then one back at 6:00. When we got back we expected to find Matt at home, but he was at the Pub... We waited and waited for him to return so we could go and get food. He forgot to reset his watch to summer time :)
