Checked out of the Grand Plaza Hotel then took the tube from the Queensway Station to the Liverpool Street Station. We really hate dragging luggage on the tube, especially when steps are involved. Short walk from the Tube to the Train Station of the same name, and then to get a copy of the timetable for trains to and from Ipswich. As suspected they leave every 30-45 minutes so no probs. We'd told Matt we'd be coming in around noon so we skipped the 10:30 train, which was leaving in 2 minutes, and took the 11:00. This station had just undergone a major refurbishment and was just gorgeous. There's Kel next to McDonalds (see the yellow arrow?). The next slide shows more ceiling.
