My first trip to Disneyland was in 1968 at the ripe old age of 3. The family trekked down once every
3 or 4 years (!). Once I moved out on my own, I began going down to the park at least once a year.
After getting a real job we began to go down 3 or 4 times a year. Nowadays the quality of the experience
has gone down, so we're back to once every couple of years. Only in the last 13
years have I been very good about taking pictures. Back in my college days it was difficult to
even scrape up enough money to *"Kamikaze" it, let alone buy film. Many say I have an unhealthy
love of the place but it could be worse, I could be a Trekkie or a Dead Head:). Enjoy!
* Kamikaze = Driving down from the Bay Area at midnight, hitting Anaheim around 6:00am.
Having breakfast at Denny's then into the park for the rope-drop. Staying till closing
then driving back home, arriving around 4am.......
We fly now.
Below are the dates of various trips we've made (the ones we actually took pictures of).
The number next to the date is the number of pictures in the slide show. Click on the date
and you will see the opening page of the slideshow which will give you some background
on the trip, who went, weird things that happened, etc. From there you can view the
pictures sequentially, or skip around....
Side note: Can you tell when we started using a
digital camera? :)
