Well our trip was just about over. We said our good byes to Jim and the Golden Crown in the early afternoon, and Jim kindly drove us to the Lambert Resort on the North side of Tortola. This would allow us to get up bright and early the next morning for our 7:00am flight.

Can't really recommend this resort except as a place to crash for the night. It's a bit run-down in parts. They need a real lobby for one thing. They also need to fix their pool. The small wading pool at one end was full of mud and the rest of the pool's water level was down a foot to keep it from spilling into the smaller pool.

The restaurant was fantastic as was the beach however. The service and the food were excellent. Check out the fabu sunset they put up for us!.

The room was just fine and the AC was an interesting change. And then, in the middle of dinner, the current went out again!!! BVI really is 3rd world sometimes. The restaurant had a backup generator, but not the guest rooms. We sweat for awhile in candlelight, but then the power came back on at about 10:30.

The next morning we hauled our bags up to the 'lobby' to wait for our taxi.. and there was a guy sleeping on a bench there! So the Lambert Resort is nice enough but overpriced and they should spend some money on upkeep.
