We went to Piccadilly Circus twice and never saw ANY clowns! Nyuk Nyuk. Anyway, the first time was right after our London Walk through Hampstead. It was an easy tube stop and I wanted to see it at night just once. It was way crowded with mostly teens. The Tube station was a mad house. We walked around for about 15 minutes then went home. This picture was taken on our second look around, during daylight. We wanted to hit a bookstore and KNEW there was a Waterstones in Piccadilly so... Note: The Waterstones in Piccadilly is huge and you could waste hours in there... I got lots of cool historical references on the Underground including a really neat map. We had pastry and coffee at the Starbucks here too. This was on our last day. Later on in the afternoon we moved over to the Ibis at Heathrow.
