So here's the deal: Salisbury was really nice, but if I'd read in the London Walks Guide "Explorer Day to Salisbury" instead of "Explorer Day to Salisbury AND Stonehenge" I'd have probably skipped it. I wanted to see Stonehenge really bad, and I wanted my own pictures of it even more. So we get to Stonehenge after a 30 minute bus ride, and it's FREEZING! No prob. We walk through the tunnel and up into the wind, and I finally get a good look at Stonehenge. It's just as cool as I'd hoped it was. I snapped this picture so I could have a long shot, then I was gonna take one real close up (as close as you can get)...
click, click....I've run out of film. D'OH!!
My spare cameras were sitting in Shotley Gate. Sigh.

We bought a bunch of postcards instead but it just isn't the same.. for one thing the pictures are much more professional than what I would have taken :) Also they are copywritten so I can't put'em up on my site. They're in my photo album though!

On another note: It was sooooo cold on the plain there that I now know the REAL reason they celebrate the Summer Solstice here rather then the Winter...

As I had no more film, I was unable to take anymore pictures until we got back to Shotley Gate.....
