In order to acclimatize to the new timezone we try to stay awake until at least 7 or 8:00pm on our first night in London. Well we went to a pub and had a few drinks and an early dinner at about 4 or 5:00. That did it. Couldn't keep our eyes open. Went back to the very hot hotel rooms and laid down for 90 minutes. That did the trick.
We decided to take a walk through Hyde Park and that killed about 3 hours.
Here we are posing in front of the Peter Pan statue. Look at those half-lidded eyes...
That's at about 6:30pm and it's about 90 degrees F.
