For the first couple of hours we were sorta trapped inside the boats until the rain slackened some. Canal boats, especially the hotel boats, are all painted up and festooned with flowers. Ours were gorgeous inside and out.
Unlike other boats we've been on though, we were not allowed to climb up on the roof. That was crew only. We had to stick to the bow area or inside for the most part.
