When we started getting stir-crazy, all we had to do was let the crew know and they'd pull over and let us off. We would then walk along the tow-path, usually faster than the boats! This morning was probably the most chilly it ever got and except when we went out for dinner later in the week, the ONLY time I wore long pants during the whole trip.
