This is the first lock after the 16 closely spaced ones and we reached it at 1 or 2:00. No speed record beaten but quite respectable for amateurs. The gaps between locks stretched exponentially after this and the walks between started to really get tiring.
At this point I believe everyone but Our Shaun, Kel and myself climbed aboard the Dawn for lunch (Pasta Carbonera) and we did the last few while discussing Jordan's Wheel Of Time.
We were now in a race to get through the last lock before Bradford-On-Avon before 3:30 (when the lock keeper planned on leaving it (locked).
