Plan was to get back to the boats by 2:30 so we'd have time to walk to the station with our bags should Bill not make it back in time. We headed out straight across the Pultney bridge instead of walking down by the weir, mistakenly thinking this was a direct path to the canal. Well it sort of was, but somehow we got off course and ended up WAY down the canal from where we needed to be and no sign of how to get down to the tow-path. We passed this place on our travels.
