In the afternoon we joined back up and all took the tube out to the hinterlands. We scored tickets for a tour of the London Transport Museum DEPOT. The museum itself is closed for the next year, being totally renovated, so the only way to see all the old tube trains and buses is to sign up for these 'no more than 15 people' tours of the 'Depot' where all the stuff is stored and maintained. It's more of a workshop/warehouse than a museum but OMG what a collection of really cool stuff!! Yeah, Matt and I took too many pics.

Oh and I got stung by a wasp on the same foot at the one I'd had the pine needle in earlier in the trip 5 minutes into it and had to limp along as best I could.
