The TDR Monorail system is wonderful. Unlike at other Disney Parks, these are not scaled down one bit, but are full-sized trains designed to move large numbers of guests quickly and comfortably. They are very themed, with Mickey shaped windows and handholds and display cases of various merchandise. For the 20th Anniversary they had special paint jobs on the outside.

They do a full circuit around the resort with 4 stops: Resort Gateway (Welcome Center & Ikspiari), Tokyo Disneyland, Bayside (hotels) and Tokyo DisneySea. The fare gates are pretty much identical to those at metro rapid transit systems all over the world (they jam less than BART tho). A round trip takes about 15 minutes. They never got as crowded as the Epcot line gets after Illuminations thank goodness. You never have to wait more than 7 minutes for a train.
