Welp after our hike, we went shopping in the Village Store for ticky-tacky. Not worth taking pictures of frankly. The clouds were coming in, the temperature was dropping, and we're all desk-jockeys so were pretty pooped. We decided to head for our motel room which was in Oakhurst, about an hour's drive away. To get there you take the South Gate road, on which is THE best place to take pictures of the entire valley floor. From this vantage you can see all the main landmarks, and you have to be a pretty lame photographer to take a bad shot.
As you can see, I swapped back to black'n'white mode for this shot.
