On the day we entered Glacier Bay I was surprised to find out we would all be allowed out on the bow of the ship. On the other two cruises I'd been on the bow was restricted territory as it's more exposed to weather. This ship was set up with having people out there in mind. It's where you get the best view of the bay. You did have to go "backstage" in the big theater then step over a pretty tall bulkhead to get out however. I don't believe it's always open, but as this was the only time I tried I have no idea.

I thought it was so cool to be out there that I had to take this picture, just to prove it to Kel. From up there I had a spectacular view of Glacier Bay. In one of the next shots you'll see I was in a T-shirt and VERY comfortable. It was almost hot!
