Nice timing eh! That gun is EXTREMELY loud. Oddly enough, while we were in Edinburgh this was the only time we heard it. We must have been inside or otherwise distracted all the other days. Apparently the army officer who fires the gun has been doing it for decades... he's on all their postcards!
