This parking lot doubles as the parade ground during the annual "Tattoo" which is NOT when the Scottish army all get their body art updated... During the off-season the tour busses are allowed to come right up into it but not in the summer. Then you have to walk from the bottom of the hill. From this spot we took some panoramic shots of the city....our camera unfortunately didn't switch to panoramic mode however :( Great views!
