This shot is of the Royal Observatory, where Greenwich Mean Time is located. At exactly 1:00pm every day, they raise and lower a ball on the roof, just like New Year's Eve in NYC but less flashy. Took this as the ball was rising to the top. After seeing this we walked around the big public market area. Kel found a really nice full length coat for 20 quid! Had lunch in a fairly unremarkable sandwich shop then popped down to the dock to check out the Cutty Sark.
