This was taken from the New Town side of the City looking at the Old Town side. That big building on the left is the Bank Of Scotland headquarters. Trivia: Bank of Scotland was founded by an Englishman, the Bank of England by a Scot. The black building with the 2 pointy towers is where the Scottish Parliament is temporarily meeting until their brand new building is finished.
We could have spent a couple more days in Edinburgh and will definitely be back! Now however it was time to take the train back south. Our final week in the UK was here. Time for more London!
