Had some time to kill before our Ghost Walk so I took this shot. The lighting was very nice and, with the sun directly behind me, I was able to get my shadow in the picture (yes it was on purpose). It was taken on the Royal Mile next to Mercat Cross where the Mercat Tours leave from. This was right before I got flogged!!! I must say that the walking tour (Original Edinburgh Ghost Walk) was very cool. It was too dark during most of it to take pictures. Our guide, Rosie, was fabulous. She has a truly evil laugh. If you go and she's your guide you'll have a great time. Must say however, that the scariest thing on the tour was being stalked by a private tour of about 50 children. The underground vaults were fun until someone opened a door inside which led to a rather ordinary office...
The next day we took a day trip to the Highlands to see Loch Ness!
