While at Walt Disney World we stayed at the Port Orleans Resort: French Quarter.
We loved it. It's like staying in the real French Quarter without all the drunks,
crime and urine smell :). If we still want to stay in a moderate resort next
time, we'll definately stay here. If our fortunes are better, perhaps a
second stay at the Grand Floridian or at the Yacht Club. The Animal Kingdom Lodge looks
nice too.
This place had everything we needed except a good sit-down restaurant. The food court
was fine, and the pool was very fun. There were bunnies running all over the place.
Our rooms on the 3rd floor of building 6 were perfect. A good size and not too
far a walk to the bus stop or for food, yet far enough away to not be noisy.
From one of our rooms we had a nice view of the river. The only real thing that
was annoying was that the bus stops at the parks for this resort always seemed
to be the furthest away from the main entrances.
